Frequently asked questions
Which math skills can children practice?
Place value offers five levels: 1–20, 10–50, 10–99, 100–299 and 100–999. Addition, Subtraction and Mixed each offer six stages: within 10; within 20 without regrouping; making or breaking ten within 20; whole tens within 100; two-digit calculations without regrouping; and two-digit calculations with regrouping. Subtraction answers are never negative, and zero is a valid answer. Incorrect answers provide relevant counting, block or regrouping guidance.
Can I play with a whole class?
Yes. Use Practice / Whole class and project the game. There is no timer, so children can discuss the blocks before choosing a ball. Correct shots automatically move to the next question after the basket and a short pause. Incorrect answers allow hints and retries on the same question.
How does the two-team race work?
Red and Blue teams start together and independently complete the selected 5, 10, 15 or 20 questions. They receive the same number pool in different orders. A miss stays on the same question for another try. First-try correct answers earn two points; correct answers after a retry earn one. First-try accuracy comes first, then elapsed time.
What devices and controls can I use?
Use a mouse, touch screen, or keyboard. Red uses A/S/D and Blue uses J/K/L. Team race needs a wide or landscape screen. Practice also works on a portrait phone with 1/2/3 keys available on a keyboard.
Do I need an account or my own questions?
No. The game generates its own place-value and arithmetic questions and runs in the browser without student accounts. The share button copies the game page link; it does not transfer a running match or saved results.
How to Play
In Game Settings, choose Place value, Addition, Subtraction or Mixed, then your level and 5, 10, 15 or 20 questions. Tap the matching basketball. A miss gives a counting or calculation hint and another try. Play alone, as a class or in two teams. First-try accuracy comes first, then time.
